The house where Roland Michener was born was designated a Municipal Historic Resource by the City of Lacombe in 2016. The building now houses the Michener House Museum and Archives.
The Lacombe Museum has also written an outstanding biography of Roland Michener that is available on its website. You can also view archival footage of Roland Michener being sworn in as Governor General in 1967.
